Is it safe?
Errand runs on your computer: your files, memory, chat history and keys are saved there, and we never receive them. To write each reply, your message is sent to a free AI model from Google (or NVIDIA/OpenRouter as backups), and the chat travels through Telegram’s bot API, like any Telegram bot. Free AI plans may use what you send to improve their products, so don’t share passwords, one-time codes or bank details. What’s private and what isn’t.
Are free models any good?
For everyday tasks, yes. We pick and update the best free models automatically, so you don’t have to follow what’s current.
Does my computer need to be on?
Yes. Errand works while your computer is on and online. We keep it awake while plugged in.
What if something breaks?
Errand auto-updates, and a one-click Doctor button repairs most problems. If you get stuck, email us and we help you get running.
Is the AI really free?
The AI models run on free plans that need no credit card. The Kit itself is paid: $29 once, with a year of updates. The trade-off: free AI plans may use what you send to improve their products, so keep secrets out of your chats.
Do I need to know the terminal?
No. You paste one command; the wizard does the rest. The video shows each step.
Windows or Mac?
Both. The members page has a command for each.
